Our second vintage of 100% Tempranillo grown by Debbie and Ted, the proprietors and meticulous caretakers of the BriArs Vineyard in eastern Escondido, CA. The wine was aged for 18 months in a new French Oak puncheon, then aged an extended period in bottle prior to release. This is the second of what looks to be many delicious vintages created from the teamwork between Debbie and Ted & Hungry Hawk Vineyards.

Tasting Notes
Aromas of blackberry, herbs and cedar greet the nose. On the palate, the wine offers grippy tannins complemented by flavors of earthiness, blackberries and a hint of vanilla. The wine is medium-bodied with well balanced acidity.
